Alvin remembers your name.
Bun & Mi opened on Montana Avenue in January 2023 and has been run by two people ever since. Pamela cooks. Alvin runs the room, checks in on every table, and remembers repeat customers by name.
It is counter seating, a short menu and food made when you order it. People describe eating here as being a guest in their home, which is roughly the idea.
